This unit examines steps to teach productive skills effectively. It shows what is needed to get our students to speak freely/fluently and also work on the accuracy of what they are saying. Bith accuracy and fluency are equally important. Wrinting activities are often left for the students to do on their own but this is not the best thing to do since many won't do it. So it is useful to give writing activities in class. Attention must be focused mainly on accuracy, punctuation, vocabulary but not on the actual handwriting of the student. Handwriting should be practised at home for students who find it difficult.
