This unit covers the productive skills. These are speaking and writing. There are three speaking activities in the classroom (controlled activities, guided activities and creative communication). Often students are afraid to speak in the classroom. It can be the reason of fear to make mistakes, low confidence, no interest in the topic and peer intimidation. Teacher should solve the problem using such techniques: pair and group work, involve students to communicate, find a motivation for students. There are two main language activities: accuracy and fluency. Accuracy activities are refered to the study phase, fluency activities are refered to the activate phase.
