Teaching and learning English language effectively go in tandem with the execution of productive skills. Unlike receptive skills, productive skills embrace speaking and writing skills. Speaking skills gohand in hand with writing aspects. More clearly, speaking and writing skills lead to common purpose that lies on the objective of communication. At this point, EFL teachers are ought to select communicative/speaking activities that interest the learners’ will. Within the process of communication, teachers shouldequally execute accuracy and fluency speaking activities. While accuracy signifies the correct usage of language, fluency puts the emphasis on the flow and creation of learners especially during student talk time. In this regard, speaking activities are divided into two poles: fluency activities and accuracy activities. On the one hand, speaking activities such as debate, discussion, communication games and role-play activities should be executed according to fluency based strategy. On the other hand, controlled activities including drilling, prompted questions andstructured role-play, to name but a few, are effectively implemented by means of accuracy based strategy. This division is essential in order to increase students’ flow and creation, during fluency phase, and rectify students’ mistakes or errors, during accuracy stage. Encouraging students’ communication,which is full of strong enthusiasm and willingness, is deemed a challenging matter. Hence, teachers are preferred to set up favorable techniques such as pair-work, group-work, organized planning, prior instructions and explanations. On the other hand, writing skills are as essential as speaking and/or communicative skills. In this sense, writing skillsentail quite different standards comparing to speaking skills. Vocabulary, grammar spelling, creative writing, handwriting, layout and punctuation are the major criteria of writing skills. EFL teachers are allowed to maintain the performance and execution of the whole aforementioned standards. By exemplifying the appropriate grammar spelling, vocabulary variations, punctuation, EFL teachers contribute to the correct usage of a foreign language. For instance,motivating students to creative writing activity increases their sense of imagination and accuracy. To sum up, a well-organized and managed lesson should mingle productive and receptive skills all at once.
