In this unit, I learned how to go about actually planning for lessons. I learned about how to set up lesson plans in a way that is organized and effective for teaching students English. The sample form in the lesson demonstrated how I can plot out personal aims for myself along with learning objectives for the students. I learned about the purpose of lesson plans, and how to use them in order to make the most of class time, while maintaining a flexible schedule in case things don't go as planned. By tracking the progress of the students and myself throughout the course, I can make sure that the students are getting the aid that they need and I myself will have the opportunity to grow as a teacher.
