This unit has given me better insight on lesson planning and wat it entails. I have learnt about the 3 important functions of a lesson plan. 1. It is an aid in planning 2. its a working document that gives you something to refer back to during the lesson and 3. a record of what a class has done and what material was used. I was also given the opportunity to do my own lesson plan on the blank lesson plan sheet that was provided. I learned that it was not only important to have student objectives but also teacher objectives. I have also learned how to ad that I should monitor the quality of my lesson and make notes where I can improve.
