In this Unit , I learnt that if a teacher wishes to introduce a communicative activity to the students , he or she should create the need and desire. And accuracy and fluency carry equal importance . Accuracy activities will check that the students can understand and use the language in a controlled way before being expected to try to use it creatively in a fluency activity . It's also teacher's responsibility to create a comfortable class atmosphere so that students can enjoy communicating with the teacher and students. I also learnt many ways that can help to encourage interactions such as pair-work , group-work, plenty of controlled and guided practice before fluency activities , etc.
