This unit completed the concepts started in Unit 7. As a writer, I am partial towards the development of writing skills, and often take time to train colleagues on their written communication. However, teaching speaking is something I was struggling with, so it's good to understand that a bit better. The separation of accuracy from fluency was an important point for me to learn, and it was good to understand where in the lesson these concepts should come. The focus on games was also helpful, and I am planning to compile a list of games and resources for my classes, so that I have a strong set of tools at my disposal for teaching.
