This unit provided examples of standard classroom equipment and listed suggested uses. I also learned some tips in order to ensure the introduction of the teaching equipment goes smoothly in the lesson. While some of the technology listed in this unit is outdated, I appreciated the section on Interactive Whiteboards. It prompted me to consider how I can use technology to it's full potential - as opposed to treating it like a chalk board. Although I don't know if my future classroom will have access to this technology, this unit prompted me to consider how I can better use technology to engage and educate my students.
