This unit was especially helpful due to my current working context as many of my students require advice about the different exams available to them. Since the majority of them either want to study in a foreign country or apply for a work visa, my students need to take international exams like TOEFL, IELTS and other Cambridge exams. Completing this unit allowed me to enhance my knowledge regarding such options. Moreover, as I prepare them for these exams, having additional knowledge about placement and diagnostic tests aids me in assessing their progress, strengths and weaknesses so that I can shift focus if need be.
