This unit showed two example videos of a good and a not so good way to teach. It can largely boil down to the teacher and how they present themselves. If the teacher is friendly, warm, and smiling while explaining the lesson bother verbal and by showing images and miming, the students will react much better to that and will be more willing to participate. If the teacher is strict, looking unhappy, or sounds bored or irritated, the students will be much less likely to participate and maybe even afraid to do so for fear of embarrassing themselves. Attitude is everything and will make or break how effective a lesson is.
