I enjoyed this unit as it clearly explains the different teaching methodologies and the negative/positive aspects of each method. The ITTT ?Engage, Study Activate? method overall seems to provides more flexibility with language learning than any of the other singular approach. The elicitation sample techniques are useful as was the section ?points to bear in mind?. The final part of the unit discussed three ESA lesson plans; straight arrow, boomerang and patchwork. It was interesting how this worked outlining how the teacher can vary the lesson to make it less predictable and more exciting.
