I truly learnt so much from this unit. I learnt about different methodoligies of teaching- the pros and cons about each one. I learnt the 3 major phases that take place in a lesson and what each phase should consist of and examples of what could be done in those phases. I also learnt about 3 types of lesson plans- staight arrow, boomerang and patchwork. Every lesson does not have to flow specifically like these but as long as it begins with engage phase and ends with activate phase. I also learnt when corrections take place and in which phase of the lesson and how to correct writing activities using a coding system.
