Teachers can use many different types of materials to help teach students in a more effective way. These types of materials can be put into different categories: course/textbooks, authentic materials, and created materials. Course/textbooks are generally large books tat overtime build up a students progression through learning the class, but may lead to teachers being less creative in their classrooms. From what I feel I've learned with this unit is that the use of authentic and created materials can supplement the course books sometimes to bring that creativity to the classroom, among other positives of their uses.
