There are many forms and functions of the future tenses. The present tense can also be used to describe future actions. The predictive nature and construction of the future tense forms can lead to confusion for students and the explanations are not always strait forward. Therefore the usages for each verb tense and the construction are probably the important things to understand. The expression of certainty, versus uncertainty, as well as predictions are particularly difficult. The vocabulary is not necessarily new but to organize the forms may lead to difficulty, although the exercises described would prove useful.
