Planning a lesson helps us create a logical sequence and allows us to have a clear guide during the duration of our class. It gives us the opportunity to decide our lesson objectives, type of activities that will meet these objectives, the materials needed to complete them, planning the duration of the activities and having alternatives in case of any extensions needed or if a topic needs to be postponed for another lesson.
