As a native english speaker, Unit IV revealed to me how much I take the tense system for granted. I was completely unaware of the subtle differences which categorize the twelve tenses in the english language. This unit made me focus more deeply into these variations and exceptions, allowing me to further me aware and understand the words I decide to use. This unit also provided excpetional help in thinking about activities to utilize when teaching each of these tenses through showing possible options. With these ideas, I am able to further build and change them to further suit specific needs of the lesson and class.
