Unit 5 went over specific examples of what teaching methods I should utilize in a classroom and when those methods are relevant. The first step is engage where I could provide pictures and simple diagrams of the vocabulary. This will create interest while also introducing the new vocabulary lesson. The activate stage goes a little further in depth with activities such as a crossword in order to further expose the students. The last stage, depending on the lesson structure, utilizes activities such as debates and short story building. This stage pushes the students to create their own connections with the vocabulary.
