It is clear that the students in the second video were more comfortable, engaged and participating in the lesson. They understood what was being taught and the requirements of the activities. The teacher had clearly planned the lesson with a structure that he worked through. Instructions were clear and easy to understand. Some of the thing the teacher did that were more effective included using the student?s names, being positive and supportive to towards the students. As a result, students were talking more and contributing to the lesson. He appeared interested in the lesson and was enjoying what he was doing.
