In addition to textbooks and workbooks, there are many other resources available to the teacher to be used in an EFL classroom. Electronic devices are fun and interactive and allow the teacher to vary her teaching methods which prevents the class from becoming monotonous and keeps the students engaged. DVDs and CDs, and cassettes (although these are not common anymore) are great ways for students to hear authentic recordings, getting them more comfortable to accents other than their teacher's accent. There are also numerous resources online available to the teacher, such as dictionaries, Youtube videos and podcasts.
