? I have learnt the mechanics behind the language I have spoken since being a child. ? A thorough revision of english taught in primary and secondary school. ? I have learnt a lot of new forms of grammar that were previously used but not understood why. ? I have learnt how to use and create exercises to assist students in understanding new language. ? It has been an interesting experience; self-motivation and time management have both been crucial. ? I have learnt how to construct and the importance of an effective lesson plan. ? The teaching model used in TEFL can be used in other activities I am qualified to teach, and vise-versa. To conclude, I have learnt why I speak this way and developed a procedure in order to help others understand the correct forms and structures of the language. I have gained the confidence to teach english. I may be using my TEFL training in formal job placement in future, as a way to live abroad and experience new countries and cultures. However, from here I plan to use my TEFL training to teach friends english that are enthusiastic to learn but do not have so much opportunity to do so.
