The tefl course has taught me a lot about the english language and how it was formed. I am bilingual so for example, a prefix for me can bring forth a whole new meaning to a word and into a conversation. At times even, stressing certain syllables and connotations enrich conversations. We learn new things about how language is changing but returning to the origin is the epicenter of formality. This course refreshed my knowledge because I have been living in mexico for 6 years and I felt that I would somehow forget the important origins or accent of the english language. I am glad I took this course because I will keep on teaching foreigners business english. This certification is a staple around the world.
