Not only did I strengthen my understanding of english I also got a new glimpse of the other side of the classroom. I started off these lessons with the understanding of english but not how to explain why it is that way. "Why is everything set up the way it is and how do I convey that to other people?" are the questions that got me to take a look at what my own teachers had gone through with my education. With this I can start learning from my own experiences as a student and see how I can apply what was good for my own students. I got good teaching ideas and I hope I can use that to make phenomenal lessons of my own. I now have a new sense of courage and determination in teaching not only english but American culture to others.
