I enjoyed the examples of the lesson plans and feel this will be a very useful tool moving forward. I think it's important to set expectations without being too rigid. This unit was helpful to see more details of the ESA planning process and how to expand on those concepts with specific use of present/past participles and tense. In general, I'm convinced the overall ESA process is key. Understanding how to hook the students from the beginning and carry it through--with option to boomerang and patchwork the process--is encouraging.
