This unit helps us understand how crucial is the attitude of the teacher in the classroom. In the first lesson , the teacher walks in with an intimidating, angry and at some point disrespectful attitude, which makes feel the students uncomfortable, intimidated and fearful. Due to his attitude, students are not able to participate in class making the lesson boring and dull. In the second video,the teacher shows a friendlier attitude which makes feel the students more relaxed, confident and comfortable throughout the lesson. With students feeling that way, the lesson becomes more interesting and students are able participate more actively and effectively. In conclusion, the attitude of the teacher will set the tone of the lesson. Calling the students by their names or a simple smile will have a profound positive effect in the lesson.
