In this unit we learn the correct way to conduct a class. By following the ESA method properly, one can ensure the success of class. In lesson one the teacher conducted himself in an improper way. He arrived late, did not introduce himself and didn’t even bother to build a rapport. He failed to explain the proper use of the words he was teaching and was also not very encouraging during class activities. In the second lesson, however, the teacher not only introduced himself but also asked the students to introduce themselves in order to ease the class atmosphere. He followed the straight arrow ESA method and was also very encouraging through out the lesson. This unit explains how important it is for the teacher to conduct herself appropriately, follow the chosen method correctly, and how her actions affect the outcome of the class.
