This unit taught me and made me think about just how complicated pronunciation of the English language is. Whilst it comes naturally to a native English speaker it is an intricate system for someone learning English to master. The unit showed me the importance of focusing on pronunciation and different techniques by which to teach it. It also exposed me to the Phonetic System, something i hadn't seen before and was very useful to gain a basic understand of how to use.
