This lesson was very engaging and interesting! It is very helpful to understand the intricacies of phonology. By understanding what motion creates a sound, it is much easier to understand how to communicate how to make a sound with your mouth, especially when a student may not be accustomed to the sound. Further, it is very useful to be able to break down a work phonologically to be able to better communicate how the words fit together in a sentence. The activities are particularly useful in this lesson as help conceptualize how to pass on this information that may seem intuitive to native speakers.
