This topic is prevalent in all aspects of learning. Oftentimes, if it is a topic one is genuinely interested in, then they will retain it quicker, and for a longer length of time. This lesson was a good reminder, that, as teachers, we need to look for many topics for our students to read and listen to. We should not expect them to only read what we enjoy. In doing this we promote better learning.
