In this unit, I learned a lot about teaching the receptive skills, reading and listening. First, I learned why we read or listen. I also learned the problems in teaching these two skills and the possible solutions. There was a sample outline of a typical receptive skills lesson. It was an ESA ( patchwork) approach and it was pretty helpful. Finally, there was also a reading lesson sample. Overall, I found this unit helpful. Thanks!
