This unit focuses on pronunciation and phonology. The first part focuses particularly on phonology, intonation, and when to stress words and syllables in a sentence. It also gives examples on how to teach these. I was taught as a child that English is a phonetic language, but this unit clarified that it truly isn't. Phonemic symbols show how words are pronounced, and articulation shows how people pronounce them. There's more examples on how to teach these.
