In this unit I learned that although a native English speaker may not hear intonations that they are present. The intonation tells the listener how the speaker feels, what the speaker believes, and how the speaker wants the listener to respond. This unit was about how intonation, speed, and rhythm guide in pronunciation and phonetics.
