Language is a bridge providing communication and introduction between people and a symbol of status in the global society. In this way, the language grows and, people need to use a global language. Why has particularly English as a language has become a global language one of the most important questions? We will find answers to this. Historically, English is a West Germanic language that was first spoken in early medieval England and is now the most widely used language in the world. It is spoken as a first language by the majority populations of several sovereign states, including the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand and several Caribbean nations. Another thing in favour of English is the relative simplicity of the conjugation of verbs. Every language hast its conjugation nightmare, especially for the regular verbs. However, English dispenses with complex prefix arrangements for tenses such as the future tense and moods like the conditional in favour of simpler auxiliary verb conjugation. Moreover, English has become important in the business world because investors prefer negotiating and closing deals in English. Next books, magazines and newspapers written in English are available in many countries around the world, and English is the most commonly used language in the sciences, televisions, films and music. Besides, people use the internet to speak to each other, read stories etc, research something and, so English has been growing by day for it is also the predominant language on the internet. Web pages in other languages often tend to have an English translation. Sometimes, there are still significant language barries among people from different countries. But if more people learn English, and come to speak it fluently, these barriers could be overcome. For example, a person in Turkey would not need to learn Chinese to communicate with his friend in China. Instead, he could use English as a neutral language. Then, if he wished to learn Chinese for his purpose, he could do so at his leisure, rather than being forced to learn it in a crash course just to be able to communicate with his friend. This increasing use of the English language globally has had a large impact on many other languages, leading to language shift and even language death, and claims of linguistic imperialism. For example, we can see some English words in other languages and English is effective to be and grow as a global language. Perhaps the existence of English as a global language of commerce is a by-product of imperialism. In conclusion, we can understand how important English is in the world. Also, English is the most widespread language in the world and is more spoken and written than other languages. Moreover, English is the medium for a huge amount of information stored in the world's computers. Of all the world's languages, English is arguably the richest in vocabulary. We can see the intrinsic structural qualities of a language, the size of its vocabulary, the quality of its literature throughout history, and its association with great cultures of religions are all important factors in the popularity of any language. English will be growing as a global language by day unless a new language has risen.
