This course has been invaluable to me on many levels. Firstly, this course has perfected my grammar. As a Native english speaker, I never thought of why I would speak english the way I do. And sometimes Native speakers do not necessary speak correct grammar all the time. As a future teacher, I will be able to explain to my students the reasons for the way we speak english. I have also learned vital communication skills (using different tone of voice, projection, speed) and how to do lesson plans. I also benefited greatly from learning about the psychology of the students (the engagement level of different age groups). In sum, this course gives me the knowledge and confidence to teach! And I?m ready for my work placement. I am going to teach in South korea next month!
