The first thing that I have learned actually is how little I know about my own language. This course has made me appreciate how difficult it can be for students of other nationalities to learn english. I think that I would make a good teacher however I also know that I will most likely need further study. Yes I was a bit dubious about doing this course online, whether I would have enough support to finish, however it has been great. I plan to live in Asia in the future and will be putting into practice the things I have learned. I am going on a fact finding trip in May 2012 to determine whether I will be in Vietnam, cambodia or thailand. Depending on the availability of english teaching positions and the support I would have as a new Teacher will determine where I go. I am leaning toward vietnam but I have not decided yet.
