I have learned that english is much more complicated than it seems. I already knew this as a former immigrant to canada but after becoming native to the language, I forgot that. This course made me remember. I have gained the knowledge to help immigrants like I was to start a new life here in Canada and use the most important tool to get them started, english. I have received priceless tools and information to help explain to an immigrant how to pronounce words the right way and teach them the difference between the past and present sense. I plan to use this knowledge into action by teaching immigrants english when they arrive in Toronto. I want to help them start a new life in Canada and increase their confidence.
