this lesson showed effective and ineffective ways to teach a lesson. the teacher was engaging and open in the second lesson, as well as exhibiting confidence and knowledge of the language. in the first lesson, the teacher was not open and looked like he really didn't want to be there, which was off-putting for the students. this lesson showed that a teacher's demeanor and attitude about a topic are important.
