This unit has modeled an improvement-needed class and an effective class. There are some areas that need improvement in the first demonstrated class. Teacher should introduce himself before he starts the lesson. He doesn't need to make students feel bad when they are late for some reason they can't control. He could appear to be more encouraging when students give wrong answers. He should check on the students when they are working in pairs instead of checking his phone. He should wrap up the language targets before he finishes the class and gives students a nice farewell before leaving. I do hope I will remember not to make these mistakes when I teach!
