This unit focused on the various skills necessary to learn a language, and then engage with it appropriately. This unit specifically starts with listening and reading skills. It walked through the various challenges that might occur in a lesson concerning reading and listening and outlined a lesson plan using an ESA learning form. It was helpful to be reminded of the challenges of using authentic texts vs. non-authentic texts.
