Upon completing this unit, I have realized that it is very important to know my students well. I should learn about their interests in order to select tasks that will get them and keep them interested in the lessons. Also, I have learnt that it is important to choose topics, over a period of time, to ensure that all students' needs are equally addressed throughout their studies. Finally, I will be sure to include both receptive skills, reading and listening, as well as productive skills, speaking and writing, in my future lesson plans.
