In order to develop proper listening and reading skills within the students, we must appease to their interests. Finding interesting topics to discuss will create an active participation. Switching up the topics will keep the students attention. However, we must be careful when providing new topics. It's important to show the difference of reading and listening with a purpose or for casual entertainment. Learning how to digest the information that is given will allow them to learn in an efficient manner, in which they can employ in their everyday lives.
