In this unit I learnt that listening and reading are very important skills in any language. I learnt how to assist my students to develop good listening and reading skills through the examples that were given in the unit. I learnt that the more vocabulary you know the easier it would be to develop and improve these receptive skills, and that explaining difficult or unknown words to the students would be important for them to grasp the information and also help them develop and improve these skills.
