Unit 11 Teaching receptive skills. This unit explained how we use eyes and ears to read and listen. However, to fully understanding a text sometimes there is a need of having existing knowledge. We listen and read in a different way considering the circumstances, like for a TV program we may be more relaxed and only listen to key points, while reading a description manual we need to be a lot more focused on the details. The unit also outlined a patchwork example lesson and included more task materials.
