Even though I am a native english speaker, I have a learned a lot about the english language which I have either forgotten or never learned, especially in terms of tenses. I have also learned a variety of teaching skills that I can apply, not only to teaching english abroad, but also in my future career. I received my teaching credential last year, and I am finishing up my M.S. in Education this June. When I originally signed up for this course, I was ultimately planning to use my certificate to teach english in hong kong this coming fall. While this plan is going to be delayed for a while, as I have decided to clear my teaching credential in the States first, I still would love to teach abroad sometime in the future. Overall, this online course was well structured and covered all vital areas needed to teach my own classroom abroad.
