This course has definitely given me direction as to how to approach teaching english as a foreign language. Even though I?ve grown up in the US and know the english language very well, I still had no idea how to teach someone else the language. I had a general idea of basic grammar concepts but I didn?t know the form or the usage of certain verb tenses. I also believe this course will be a great reference tool to aid in my future TEFL career. If there is one overarching principle I?ve learned from this course is making teaching and learning english fun! This basic philosophy will go a long way and aid me in becoming the best teacher I can possible be.
