As language teaching being my major subject at University, most of the units in the tesol course were very familiar to me. However, as time went past I had simply forgotten some of the important aspects of language teaching. This course has really expanded my views and had increased my knowledge of teaching english to other groups and cultures. This course has provided me with very efficient material, realistic teaching methods and most importantly more experience in dealing with lesson plans which are a crucial part of teaching especially for non experienced teachers. I plan to use all the information I know and teach to the best of my ability, taking into account any special considerations which I picked up from this course. My next destination will be japan; therefore I will incorporate all the diverse teaching skills which I have learned from this course and get a chance to experience new cultures and wonderful students. Overall, I feel very confident and I believe that this is a great course that covered the majority of aspects which are necessary for teaching english to foreign students.
