This unit unpacks the subtle variations of using "future" tenses. This unit made me realize how much I take for granted when I switch between these tenses. Therefore, I really need to practice how I teach "going to+infinitive" constructions. The examples of errors that students make (for the future simple, "Sunday I will to go on a picnic," for instance) would never have even crossed my mind, and I really need to have a ready answer and explanation for when I guide students to effective communication with this type of error in tense usage.
