This unit covers the seven different tenses expressing the future. As for the present and past tenses, we go through the forms, usages, the teaching ideas, and the students’ mistakes or errors. Once the learners master the major verb tenses, they’ll be better equipped to communicate in English. Teaching the future in English is relatively simple in the beginning. Students understand the future with 'will' and learn the form quickly. However, the problems begin when discussing the future with 'going to'. It’s even worse when you tell them there are seven tenses to express the future! However, have the learners make their own sentences practicing each usage seems the best way for them to master the use of tenses.
