This unit served as an overview as to the future tenses. From this unit, I realized how similar the tenses are to one another in terms of usages. Many of them tended to overlap, although there were slight distinctions. For example, both the future simple and "going to" tenses dealt with decisions, though one was spontaneous and the other was not. This made me realize how one key distinction can cause an entire lesson to confuse the students if this distinction is not made clear enough. From this, I have learned that finding the key distinctions is necessary in order for the students to understand.
