I have gained some knowledge of english grammar, parts of speech and tenses, and how complex they can be. It has been good for me as an experienced teacher to do this course, as I have had to consider my own practice, and look at it critically. There are some aspects of teaching that I know I do well, and other aspects that require changes to be made. I have seen that thoughtful, detailed planning is essential for Language teaching. I am applying for teaching positions at the moment, and intend to use this course experience to make teaching of english effective and of benefit to the students.
