For me as a teacher it was really interesting to look at the english language and its teaching methods from an EFL point of view. Many of the things I have studied were reminders of university days but also got me back on track a bit after years of doing it ?my way?. I can and already did apply much of the information to my own classes (eg. play more! Many times the curriculum has to be fulfilled and time is not enough for some fun activities) which are primary classes in an egyptian German International School. As much as english is not the primary language for EFL students, German is not mother tongue for my students, therefore the same rules apply. As I am also teaching english in grades 3 and 4 the tefl course will be extremely useful to me. In the further future I am planning to go back to teaching adults (which I did for the past 16 years) and I think with the TEFL course I have got a good tool box to do so successfully. Thank you! ?
